Central Ohio Greenways Board
The Central Ohio Greenways (COG) Board seeks to provide economic, quality of life, and health benefits to the residents of the Central Ohio region by increasing the number of people using trails for transportation and recreation through efforts that increase connectivity via communication, education, partnerships, and trail development. Based on the recent findings of insight2050, Central Ohio is poised to grow by more than 500,000 people over the next 30+ years. The majority of the growth will be in the age groups of 16 - 34 year olds and people 65 years or older. Both of those population groups are looking for more walkable neighborhoods and increased transportation options. Trails are a critical element of creating this type of diverse transportation system.
