Services

MORPC’s experienced professionals perform home energy inspections and safety checks and identify measures that improve the safety and comfort of the home. Based on eligibility the client may receive the following energy-saving services at no cost:

  • Repair or replacement of electric and gas appliances (furnaces, water heaters, stoves)
  • Attic and sidewall insulation
  • Air sealing
  • Replacement of refrigerators, freezers and light bulbs

The average household will see a 28 percent reduction in energy bills, which translates to income that can be used for other needs such as food, health care or transportation.  Over the past 25 years, MORPC has serviced more than 15,000 households making homes safer, more energy efficient and comfortable.

These programs are free to income-eligible clients thanks to funding from Columbia Gas of Ohio’s WarmChoice program, Ohio Development Services Agency's Home Weatherization Assistance Program and Electric Partnership Program, and AEP Ohio's Community Assistance Program.
