Westerville Senior Center
310 W. Main Street
Westerville, OH 43081
Come join us for our third and final paddle of Riverfest On Tour! as we explore Alum Creek by boat, followed by a bike ride. We will start the day off by paddling from Alum Creek Park in Westerville upstream to County Line Road and back. This three mile roundtrip is all within the pool created by the City of Westerville’s water treatment plant dam and will be flat water. Come learn how you can help keep this important drinking water source clean for everyone. We will follow the paddle with a pedal as we ride bikes south along the Alum Creek Greenway Trail to its current terminus near Easton. Along the way participants will learn about the importance of Greenways as well as the progress being made to complete the Alum Creek Trail allowing for off road travel from Westerville to Three Creeks Park near Groveport. Round trip for the pedal is approximately 13 miles.
Riverfest On Tour! aims to educate the public about the vital role waterways play in the region. Riverfest activities are free of charge. For more information visit our Riverfest event page.
