Join the Conversation at the Age-Friendly Columbus Community Workshop

May 9, 2017

Join Age-Friendly Columbus and AARP Ohio on May 25 for the Age-Friendly Columbus Community Workshop.

Over the past year, the City of Columbus and MORPC gathered information on Columbus' aging population. From the feedback received, we created the Age-Friendly Columbus Findings Report.

Now it is time to put together a strategic plan. The plan will include both site and service-specific action items for Columbus, but also recommendations that are broader, policy-based and applicable to other communities around the region.

“We hope you can attend the workshop and provide your ideas on how we can improve our community,” said Katie White, Age-Friendly Columbus Community Coordinator. “Our goal is to make sure Columbus and its diverse neighborhoods embrace age-friendliness as a core value.”
