The Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC), in partnership with Columbus City Council, COTA, Community Refugee & Immigrant Services (CRIS) and the Columbus Council of World Affairs to host the first Columbus International Summit for immigrant, refugee and migrant communities on Saturday, June 25, 2022.
The Columbus International Summit will showcase a variety of community resources and feature representatives from organizations discussing topics including transportation, education, health, and housing.
Additionally, the Columbus Council of World Affairs will release its annual Global Report which inventories the region’s global data and linkages. This will be the first report since the global pandemic and this year, the Council partnered with MORPC to release the findings of the report. The Global Report is updated every other year to measure global fluency in Greater Columbus. Additionally, relevant statistics about global trade, world languages in the schools, and Columbus’ increasingly diverse demographics are highlighted in the report.
The summit will include more than 30 community organizations, vendors, and entertainment. FREE health screenings will be available from Columbus Public Health and Equitas Health, but registration is highly encouraged: https://go.oncehub.com/cbusis
